As Easter approaches, families and friends across Michigan are gearing up for a weekend of festivities and celebrations. From thrilling egg hunts to family brunches and other exciting events, there is no shortage of ways to celebrate this holiday weekend. Below are some Easter events happening across Michigan celebrating the Easter holiday. Get ready to hop into the spring season with these egg-citing Easter events!
SOUTH HAVEN
Event: Easter Egg Hunt in South Haven
Location: Kal-Haven Outpost, 0500 Co Rd 687, South Haven, MI 49090
Event Date: Saturday, April 8, 2023
Event Time: 11:00 am
The hunt will be in the back of the property in the group site. There will be two separate hunts, one for the little kids 2-6years old, starting at 11am and one hunt for the bigger kids 7-12 years old, starting at 11am. $5 per child to hunt, all eggs will have prizes/candy! There will be 10 eggs in each hunt with “tickets” for bigger prizes! There will also be a food truck to be on property.
DOUGLAS
Event: Easter Parade and Egg Hunt in Douglas
Location: Downtown Douglas, 8 Center Street, Douglas, MI 49406
Event Date: Sunday, April 9, 2023
Event Time: 1:00 pm
The festivities will begin at 1pm in Downtown Douglas annual Easter Parade, Bonnet Contest and Egg Hunt! All ages are welcome, and the parade line-up will start in front of the Douglas Police Department.
HOLLAND
Event: Community Easter Egg Hunt in Holland

This is a fantastic opportunity for the entire family to have some fun at this fun community event! There will be thousands of Easter eggs waiting to be discovered, with separate egg hunts for kids aged 1-10 years, categorized into several age groups. Additionally, there will be music, prizes, and various other activities to enjoy. To ensure that you don’t miss out on the egg hunt, please arrive 15 minutes early. This event is perfect for families, and admission is free.
Event: Annual Holland Charter Township Easter Egg Hunt in Holland

The 20th Annual Holland Township Easter Egg Hunt will be held at Quincy Park. Visit with the Easter Bunny and stop by the face painting station.
GRAND HAVEN
Event: Egg Hunt in Grand Haven

The annual Grand Egg Hunt will be located at Central Park. Bring your children ages 10 and under to gather as many eggs as they can! Remember to arrive early for pictures with the Easter Bunny.
SPRING LAKE
Event: The Great Village Egg Hunt in Spring Lake

The Great Village Egg Hunt is a Village-wide egg hunt for all ages and the hunt lasts until the last egg is found! Candy filled eggs and special prize eggs are carefully hidden around the Village of Spring Lake. This is a fun event for families and friends to participate in together and also enjoy some fresh air, visit parks and local businesses.
MUSKEGON
Event: Glenside’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt in Muskegon

The Glenside Neighborhood Association invites everyone to join them for their yearly Easter Egg Hunt at McGraft Park. The event is free and is intended for children aged up to 12 years old. Three age-specific egg hunts will be held between 10:10 am – 10:30 am. Bring a basket for the egg hunt and additionally, each child will receive raffle tickets for a chance to win Easter baskets and bikes. Other fun activities include an Instagram photo station, a visit from the Easter Bunny, Party Animal Balloons, and complimentary coffee, juice, and donuts.
COOPERSVILLE
Event: Bunny Train Excursion in Coopersville

The whole family will enjoy this 90-minute train ride through 7 miles of track along the springtime countryside. The newly renovated vintage railroad passenger cars travel between the villages of Coopersville and Marne. The Bunny Train Excursion will feature the Easter Bunny and other friends. Also, remember to bring your own basket for the first-ever Easter Egg Hunt at Sullivan Field (previously known as Valley Field). This event is exclusively for kids who are 10 years old or younger, and the doors will open at 11:30 am.
HART/SILVER LAKE
Event: Hart/Silver Lake Community Easter Egg Hunt in Hart

The event features an Easter egg hunt with over 10,000 plastic eggs containing prizes, a Candy Cannon from Lewis Adventure Farm & Zoo, a Country Dairy Cow Mascot, and other family-friendly activities. The event starts with a line-up at 11:30 am, followed by the hunt and activities at 12:00 pm. The Candy Shoot from Lewis Adventure Farm & Zoo will distribute over 70 pounds of candy across the Easter Eggs on the grounds, and the Easter Bunny will be present to welcome the children. There are three age categories: Toddler (0-3), Early Elementary (4-8), and Elementary (8-12).
PENTWATER
